Last Thursday, the newest member of the Photo department, was brought outside of FAB to raise awareness and intrigue. The Department now has a Risograph and it is available for use Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-10 PM and Sundays 4-9 PM in room 335. Kathleen Saunders, Christopher Watkins, and Carla Peña stood outside from 11 am to 2 pm informing students and faculty of the Risograph. Along with making some site specific artwork as examples for how the machine works, the team also handed out maps to help get students to the the Riso at its usual location.
This week we have a visiting artist and FSU BFA alumn, Jesse Moretti working with our Riso to create a book. She will be doing an informal artist interview over at The Carneghi Arts Building this upcoming Thursday, October 12th at 7 PM. We hope to see you there!

All labs will be closed Labor Day weekend from 9/5/2015 to 9/7/2015 and will reopen with a regular schedule on Tuesday, 9/8/2015.
Hey Art Kids!
This is a note to tell you all that there will be no evening lab hours on the 3rd floor on the night of Wednesday August 5th.
Additionally, the FabLab will be closing 2 hours early (at 730pm) on Thursday August 6th.
Due to our dependence on volunteers to keep the lab open during the summer, we’ve had to make a slight adjustment to our open lab hours for the remaining two weeks of Summer Sessions. Please make note of these changes when booking times to work on the FabLab equipment.
