EinScan Pro 2x Plus 3D Scanner is a multifunctional handheld 3D scanner available for use in the Digital Media Fab Lab. The scanner collects material data through LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology and can be utilized by hand or mounted in a tripod. The system is equipped with a coded turntable for objects with a footprint less than 150mm/6in and under 5kg/11lbs. When scanning by hand, accuracy is within 0.1mm/m, 30 fps, 1,500,000 points/s, and resolution point distance .25-3mm. During a fixed scan on a turntable, single-shot accuracy is within 0.04mm and resolution point distance of .24mm.
